Glucomannan is a complex carbohydrate from the fiber group and is extracted from the konjac tuber (in English it is pronounced konjac, but in Bulgarian it is also found under the name konjac).

Glucomannan is a plant soluble fiber (fiber), from the group of carbohydrates. They are one of the most recommended natural remedies for the prevention and treatment of impaired glucose tolerance, poor lipid profile, obesity and high blood pressure. In the intestines, a large part of soluble fiber ferments, with the products of this fermentation acting as prebiotics, necessary for the increase of beneficial bacteria and the development of healthy intestinal flora. Soluble fiber promotes regular bowel movements, prevents the decay of waste products, and removes toxins from the digestive tract.

Glucomannan binds with water to form a light gel, fiber (glucomannan) brings a full feeling of satiety and eliminates attacks of acute hunger. They slow down the absorption of sugar into the bloodstream and thus regulate the release of insulin and help maintain normal glucose levels. In addition, taking glucomannan in the form of a supplement leads to an improvement in the lipid profile and a decrease in systolic blood pressure.

Recommended daily intake: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily before meals or as directed by a doctor.
