Biovea Bilberry is a dietary supplement extremely rich in flavonoids. For the production of this product, blueberries are extracted and concentrated in order to enhance the levels of anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are the coloring agents in the skin and juice of the bilberry. They are part of the flavonoid group. Bilberry improves blood circulation in the eyes and may have a beneficial effect in the treatment of retinal diseases. The active compounds in blueberries, known as anthocyanosides, may reduce the rate of macular degeneration. They contribute to the prevention of the development of cataracts, glaucoma and poor night vision.
