Allnutrition GABA is a product containing gamma-aminobutyric acid with the addition of the amino acid taurine.

GABA – gamma-aminobutyric acid is an organic chemical compound belonging to the amino acids, acting as a neurotransmitter in the body, a substance that acts on the nervous system and has an inhibitory effect. The GABA dietary supplement is intended for people exposed to intense physical and mental stress. This product has a calming effect, which translates into faster falling asleep and deeper sleep, thus prolonging the REM phase.

Taurine is a sulfur-containing non-protein amino acid with a specific physiological role. It is abundant in animal and human tissues, mainly in skeletal muscles, brain and heart. The human body has the ability to synthesize this compound from other amino acids (methionine and cysteine), but some sources suggest that endogenous synthesis may not fully cover the demand for this amino acid. Taurine affects the level of calcium in cells, is responsible for osmoregulation (regulation of the level and concentration of electrolytes and organic acids, water and electrolyte balance), and also acts as a neurotransmitter and neuromodulator.
